Get Ready for Spicemas 2025 with Carnival Kicks! šŸ’ƒšŸ½

Posted by Caitlyn Gatrell on

Spicemas 2025 is on the rise—and for true masqueraders, this isn’t just a carnival, it’s a spiritual awakening. The oil, the rhythm, the unity… Grenada’s mas isn’t for the faint of heart—it’s for the bold, the rooted, the unapologetically alive. At Carnival Kicks, we know what the road means to you. That’s why we’re already gearing up to make sure your J’ouvert chaos is unmatched, your Monday wear flawless, and your road march fierce and free. From the first splash of paint to the final chip down, we’ve got your back—and your feet.

šŸ’« Why Spicemas?

Spicemas isn’t just a carnival—it’s a calling. It’s the wild, beautiful spirit of Grenada, alive in every cloud of powder, every drop of oil, every bassline that moves through your chest. It’s culture. It’s resistance. It’s joy without apology. On this road, we show up bold, rooted, and free—embodying power in motion.

Whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned warrior of the road, one thing’s for sure—you need shoes that can rise to the occasion.

At Carnival Kicks, we design with intention—for the reveler who wants to move, slay, and never hold back.

✨ Comfort that lasts from first chip to last lap
✨ Style that commands attention and celebrates your vibe
✨ Tough enough for the paint, powder, and pure madness
✨ Light, breathable, and made for Caribbean heat

From glittering boots to sleek wedges and road-ready sneakers, Carnival Kicks is your go-to for footwear and accessories made for carnival!

Power. Beauty. Grit. On the road, you wear it all. Let’s make sure you feel it in every step.

šŸ”„ What to Look Forward To:

Here's your Spicemas highlight reel:

šŸŽ Traditional Mas – Think Grenadian heritage in full display: Shortknee, Veko, Wild Indian, Jab Jab (yes, the real deal with oil, horns, and chains).

šŸŽØ J’ouvert Morning (Monday, Aug 11) – Starts before sunrise, full of powder, paint, mud, and unfiltered freedom. Bring your wildest energy.

šŸ‘  Monday Night Mas (Aug 11) – Glow-in-the-dark, LED-lit, nighttime parade through the streets with music, lights, and vibes for days.

šŸ‘‘ Parade of the Bands / Pretty Mas (Tuesday, Aug 12) – Full glam. Costumes. Waistlines. You’ll be on the road looking like royalty, and you need the right shoes to slay all day.

šŸŽ¤ Soca Monarch & Calypso Finals – The soundtrack of Spicemas! Don’t miss performances from top artists from Grenada and the wider Caribbean.

šŸŽ¶ Panorama & Steelband Music Festival – If you love pan music, this will fill your soul.

So if you’re planning to get on bad (and we know you are), grab a pair of our Spicemas-approved kicks (we've got plenty!) and get your plan together. We made them to withstand the heat, get dirty, dance hard, and still look fire by the end of it!

Plus don't forget- we carry various hosiery styles, sunglasses, hats, face gems, thigh bags, and more to fulfill all your carnival accessory needs. We can’t wait to see all your gorgeous costumes and your paired CK gear this year! The time is almost here!
