Ep. 4: Who needs Art School Anyway? Talent like wow, Laura Ferreira

August 19, 2019

In this episode, I chat with the super talented Laura Ferreira.  Laura honed her natural talent to become a very successful, self-taught Fine Art Portrait Photographer. What does that mean? Just check out some of her work www.lauraferreira.com or @lauraferreirastudios on Instagram and you'll totally understand!

Although she always enjoyed art for as long as she could remember, she was actually pushed into art as a career out of necessity. Being a young mother she wanted a more flexible schedule and made the decision to really hone her natural talents. And boy oh boy did she! Laura works on private commissioned pieces both in fine art and photography. She is a brand ambassador for @500px; a global network of photographers; and she also dabbles as a cartoonist - check out Felissa Bumblehead.

If you're in Trinidad and would like to do one of her (painting) portrait classes, you can shoot her an email and make arrangements to do so! What a wonderful way to pass the day, with expert tutelage at that!

I was totally in fangirl heaven, meeting, chatting and being photographed by one of my personal favorite artists.

Check out her recent photos for Bliss, Lost Tribe

Drop me a comment and let me know what you think about the cover art for this podcast that Laura shot!
